Happy New Year! The Le Bleu East Tennessee blog wants you to resolve to drink more water in 2023 and we’re here to help with some water facts and hydrating tips.
The Center for Disease Control makes no recommendations for exact amounts of water a person should consume each day, but does recommend that most of your daily water intake come from actual water rather than from foods like fruits and vegetables. Le Bleu East Tennessee is fully stocked and staffed to help you hydrate this year.
If you’re like many people this time of year, you’re aiming to lessen your calorie intake each day. Water will quickly become one of your handiest tools to achieve this goal since it’s a great way to hydrate with no calories and may help you consume less food during meals because it makes you feel fuller.
Tips for drinking more water:
- Invest in a large durable water bottle that you can take anywhere you go to make it less convenient to grab a sugary drink on the road when thirst hits you.
- Keep your water bottle filled throughout the day (we can help with that!).
- Order water instead of a soft drink or tea with your meal when you’re dining out. Le Bleu East Tennessee is proud to supply local restaurants with bottles of our Ultra Pure Water. Visit our location page for a list of those businesses.
- Set reminders in your phone to prompt you to drink water at various times during your day. Think about adjusting your prompts to account for your weekday and weekend schedule.
