When you begin service with Le Bleu East Tennessee, you will notice a charge for bottle deposits on your first invoice. You might assume water delivery is going to cost more money than you anticipated. Bottle deposits help keep costs and waste down in our business. Rest assured, this blog post will explain our bottle deposits work and put your mind at ease. We’ll also cover some important reasons we encourage bottle returns over final purchases. Spoiler alert: it’s good for the planet and our business!
1. Unlike some grocery store multi-gallon water suppliers, Le Bleu East Tennessee offers bottle deposits.
We charge refundable bottle deposits. This means that if you ever have a decreased need for bottles and have empty ones that don’t need to be exchanged for full ones, you’ll receive your deposit when you return each empty bottle to us. If you order three bottles on each delivery and return three bottles on each delivery, you’ll never see another deposit unless you increase that order to more than three bottles in a delivery.
2. Le Bleu East Tennessee has GREEN goals.
We want to recycle our bottles, so we hope holding deposits instead of a charging a customer for a bottle will encourage those bottles to come back to our system. One jug can last an average of five years in our system before it no longer meets our quality standards. After a bottle can no longer go through our exchange system, we carefully recycle it so the plastic can be reused again.
3. We take safety and quality seriously.
Le Bleu has a state-of-the art 130,000 square foot manufacturing facility located in Advance, North Carolina. We commit to a rigorous process to sanitize and ready all bottles between uses at this facility. The process ensures our product meets our quality and safety expectations while keeping plastics out of the landfill, which means wins all around! All of our jugs are washed in our own Le Bleu Ultra Pure Water during our sanitation process. Using our own water over tap water guarantees contaminates normally found in tap water don’t get in our products.
4. Still have bottles from your old water service? Don’t toss them!
Did you know we’ll also take bottles from other services when you switch your water delivery service to Le Bleu East Tennessee? While we can’t reuse the bottles in our patented water process, we make sure to recycle the other bottles so they don’t touch a landfill. Accepting the bottles that our new customers have been forced to purchase with other water providers is just one of the many conveniences you’ll find while working with a small local business like Le Bleu East Tennessee.
Have we convinced you that bottle exchanges are way better for your delivery service than buying bottles? We hope so! If you have more questions about our exchange program, please email (hello@lebleuwater.com) or call us (865-408-8584). We’re here to help you hydrate!
