Whew! What an October we had! This post will be short (like last month felt!). We had a whirlwind month thanks to so many wonderful customers and community members that kept us busy the last few weeks helping to send water to our neighbors affected by Hurricane Helene. We want this post to serve as a thank you letter to all of our customers for contacting us to help hurricane areas. We are also grateful for the grace shown to us by our regular route customers that may have received their deliveries later in the day or possibly the next day while we worked to help our neighbors. It was our intention to stay in constant contact with our regular customers so they would still know when to expect those regular deliveries.  Lastly, we are blessed with a team that worked long days and even weekends to help with the efforts. We put all hands on getting water where it was needed most and still maintained our delivery schedules for our daily routes. We posted a lot less on social media so we could reply to emails and return phone calls. None of this would have been possible without our committed team members and our understanding customers.

We understand that some parts of our area are still trying to get clean water. We will continue to support those areas until they have gained total access back to their water systems. Le Bleu East Tennessee is fully stocked for our regular customers and anyone that still needs help with clean water.

As we return to our normal delivery schedules and start to recognize the normal work day hours we were working before this past month, we never want to forget these days in our community just so we can always reflect on the pure good that came out of such an awful event. We are blessed to work and serve in a beautiful part of the state where the people have hearts of gold.

There’s never a question why we’re proudly known as the VOLUNTEER state.

We pray you have a month full of gratitude.
