The holidays are here and our delivery drivers and postal workers are in the middle of their busiest time of year! In this month’s blog, we are sharing ideas to help you appreciate those that bring the holiday purchases to our homes.
Here are some thoughtful ways to show appreciation for your delivery driver:

Tip Generously: Even small tips can make a big difference, especially considering the effort involved in navigating weather, traffic, and time constraints. Small gifts like gift cards for coffee shops or gas stations can be very thoughtful and appreciated during the hustle and bustle of this month.
Leave a Note: A handwritten thank-you note or even a quick message on a post-it can brighten someone’s day. Mentioning how much their service means to you can be very impactful.
Positive Feedback: If the company has a feedback system, leave positive comments about your driver. This can affect their performance reviews positively. Amazon is running their popular “Thank My Driver” promotion again in 2024, making it easy to appreciate the driver that brought your last Amazon delivery.
Share on Social Media: If your driver goes above and beyond, share your experience on social media (without personal details), tagging the company to potentially give them recognition.
Safety Considerations: If you live in an area where safety might be a concern, consider ways to make the delivery process safer, like ensuring good lighting at your doorstep or providing a safe place for package drop-off.
